Dr. Ramji Gupta is a well known Dermatologist of Delhi and has authorized/co-authorised 4 other books relating to Dermatology and Venereology and has published papers based on research studies in the field in recognized peer reviewed journals. This book has been subsidized by Govt. of India through the National Book Trust.
This book deals with diagnosis and treatment of common skin diseases seen in day-to-day practice. Brief description of skin lesions has been given supported by black and white photographs of good quality. In many instances essential details of treatment have also been given. There are 23 chapters describing skin diseases under various etiological headings. This book is intended primarily for under graduate students and general practitioners. It does serve this purpose. Any book of Dermatology which costs only Rs. 59.00 is worth buying.
