Serum Cholesterol in Skin Diseases

The serum cholesterol level of 240 patients suffering from different skin conditions has been studied and a statistical comparison has been made vnth a normal control group. In majority of the skin the serum cholesterol level was found to be significantly lower than in the normal group. In seborrhoeic dermatitis, however, no significant difference was found.
