Twenty-one patients suffering from bilateral steroid-responsive dermatological lesions were studied in a double-blind comparative fashion for clinical evaluation of Propaderm and Hydrocortisone. The period of treatment was fixed arbitrarily or 3 weeks and patients were subsequently followed up for a further period of 2 weeks after the discontinuation of the therapy. The response to Propaderrn treatment quick and was found to be highly significant as compared to Hydrocortisone therapy. No untoward side- effects were noticed with either of the drugs.
