Effect of Paba on Hyperpigmented Patches on Face

TWO hundred cases with hyperpigmented patches on face were treated with PABA given in actinic hyperpigmention orally. The results were better than hyperpigrnentation due to other causes. A theoretical conception based on the pharmacology of PABA and its use m the treatment of hyperpigmented patches of face is discussed. This is a pilot study and further evaluation of the drug will have to be undertaken.
